Should You Renovate Before Selling?

As you prepare to list your home, it's important to review your property and make changes/upgrade maintenance as needed. But what's needed and what isn't? National Association of Realtors (NAR) data shows that in our hyper competitive market, you may not need to make as many changes as you would in a Buyer's market.

Depending on your local area, price range, and your potential Buyer however, there may be recommended changes or upgrades. Often simple/low cost changes such as new paint, light fixtures, removing or changing window coverings can make a huge difference in the appeal you'll have to Buyers and your ultimate sales price.

Considering selling? Call The Surges Team. We're happy to do a walk-through with you to discuss recommended changes to best position your property for maximum value.
